Addie Wagenknecht explores the tension between expression and technology, and blends conceptual work with hacking and sculpture. Her work has been exhibited at MuseumsQuartier Wien, La Gaîté Lyrique, and The Istanbul Modern, and other international sites. In 2016 she collaborated with Chanel and i-D magazine for their Sixth Sense series. In 2017 her work was acquired by the Whitney Museum for American Art, and has been featured in numerous books, and magazines, such as TIME, The Wall Street Journal, and Vanity Fair. She has a Master’s degree from the Interactive Telecommunications Program at New York University, has held numerous fellowships, and is currently represented by bitforms gallery in New York.
